CSA Approved Helmets

CSA approved ice skating helmets are required to be worn by all skaters regardless of age if they are assessed under CanSkate Stage 6.

Payment

If a skater has fees that remain unpaid 30 days past the due date, the skater will be suspended from the activities and classes until the balance of fees are paid.

If a repeat offence occurs, the skater will be required to pay the balance of ALL fees prior to suspension being lifted and any future registrations will be required to be paid in full prior to class start.

Misconduct

As a volunteer organization we do our best to ensure we treat all skaters and families with respect and kindness. We expect the same in return and have a No Tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior and language.  If a skater or family member violates this policy they may be expelled from any and all classes after review and discussion with the board.

Complaint and Appeal Process

Complaints

If a skater or family has a concern they may submit their concern to the board at westlockskate@gmail.com.

Any serious complaints or issues with the club or coaches should be directed to our section at info@skateabnwtun.ca. The complaint will be reviewed by the section and any and all action will be at their discretion.

Appeals

Any appeals should be directed in writing to the section at info@skateabnwtun.ca. The appeal will be reviewed by the section and any action will be decided and carried out by them.
